KARE is a television station licensed to Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, serving the Twin Cities area as an NBC affiliate. The station, owned by Tegna Inc. has studios on Olson Memorial Highway in Golden Valley and a transmitter at the Telefarm site in Shoreview, Minnesota.

KARE currently airs more than 27.5 hours of locally produced newscasts each week. Unlike most NBC affiliates in large and mid-sized markets, the station does not air a Sunday morning newscast.

The local children's program "Lunch with Casey" is remembered as one of the network's unique contributions.

As the NBC affiliate for Minneapolis-St. Paul Market, KARE clears all NBC programming on its main channel; however, the station has a history of displacing or delaying nightly programs for syndicated repeats.
